What Does Helping Hands Provide?
Life can change at the drop of a hat. Unexpected unemployment, fire, flood, the passing of a loved one – so many things can happen that can immediately and completely uproot our lives.
Helping Hands provides temporary financial support to Hudson residents during crisis and emergency need. Additionally, we provide referrals to other local and regional organizations for access services for appropriate, long term assistance.
Examples of support include
* Rent or mortgage assistance
* Clothing and household items
* Utilities support
* Food assistance
*Transportation and gasoline support
How to Get Help
Please call 330-671-9457 and leave a message for one of our Helping Hands volunteers.
Include your name, address, phone number and a statement of need.
Calls will be returned within 24-48 hours.
If you are in need of emergency food or ongoing food assistance, please contact the Food Pantry directly.
